When you add a Microsoft Exchange account to Microsoft Outlook, the Exchange Server automatically syncs your messages, contacts, calendar events and other folders to the email client. To access this data in Android, set up your Exchange mailbox on your smartphone or tablet via Exchange ActiveSync. EAS will connect to your account and transfer content from your Outlook profile to your mobile device.
Open "Settings" from the Apps screen and then scroll down to the Accounts section.
Touch "Add Account" and then touch "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync." If preferred, check "Show Password" or "Send Email From This Account by Default."
Type your email address and password into the fields provided, then touch "Next."
Touch "Edit Details" if an error message appears informing you of a problem connecting to your Exchange Server.
Type your server address into the "Exchange Server" field. Check "Use Secure Connection (SSL)" or "Use Client Certificate," if applicable, then touch "Next."
Review the terms of use and then touch "OK" to proceed. Confirm "Sync Email," "Sync Contacts," "Sync Calendar" and "Sync Task" are all checked and then touch "Next."
Enter a name for the account you just created and then touch "Done."
