Windows 7 Hacks: Disable Search Indexing

This tips is great way to boost your Windows 7 performance. You will be unable to use Windows Search function, so, make sure that you know where is your files and folders has been stored.


 Steps:

  1. Go to Windows run windows (keyboard: Windows button + R) and type: services.msc [ENTER]
  2. You are in services page now. Find “Windows Search“, point your mouse pointer about this feature, right click mouse.
  3. Select the “Stop” option.
  4. Repeat step #2, select “Properties” option. Popup windows for Properties optioa is appear, change the option “Automatically” with “Disable“. Press OK
  5.  Restart your system and you are done.
